Batteries from Mini 3 work with Mini Pro 5

DJI really should disable this in firmware. At the very least refuse to take off, with an incompatibility message displayed. At best, refuse to even power up. Since we already know the battery type and model is available to Fly, there's no good reason not to do this. Wondering why DJI hasn't.

Where to buy recently released DJI drones from the US (updated daily)

Minor nit: They are electrically compatible, that's why the M5P will power up, take off, and fly. Unfortunately they do not have sufficient power to operate the drone under all conditions. Perhaps there will be a firmware update in the future that will disable this. Would be wise on DJI's part.

DJI probably believes this nonsense will end at some point, hopefully sooner rather than later. I do.

Changing stick mode on FPV 3 controller - tearing my hair out!

Glad you figured it out, but I'm a little confused about what you wrote above. Mode 1 will put pitch (forward/backward) on the left stick, not the right. If you truly want that on the right stick, you want mode 2. Also, it's a good idea to purge your mind of angle mode (Cine/Normal/Sport)...

Major problems with mini 3 pro today

Not what anyone wants to hear, but the problems in the end are because you are using the DJI RC. It's a fundamentally flawed product, and despite updates that have improved its performance, it's still a bundle of problems. The engineers tried to save too much on hardware, so Android is...

    Battery Firmware Confusing

Yeah, Fly will have a message on the home screen saying, "Inconsistent firmware", and give the option to update for each battery when it starts up.

Can anyone out there tell me how to unbind my DJI Mavic Mini 4 Pro and RC 2 controller?

No video, but it's pretty easy. Go to device management in DJI Fly, unbind the drone with the unbind button. Then log in to your DJI account from a web browser, and remove the drone from your registered products. Now you can sell it.

Where to buy recently released DJI drones from the US (updated daily)

Is there not an RC-N3 extended battery FMC available? I don't need another RC2, although I suppose a backup isn't a bad idea, or I can go through the hassle of selling it, if I can overcome retirement laziness... 😁

Pile on and Tell Me Why I am Wrong

There is a middle ground... While holding back on reporting to authorities, you could publicly comment on the post with citations for section/chapter in the regulations for what is being clearly violated. He may be totally dismissive (that's what I'd expect), but others would be educated, and...

Can one controller (RC2) control two drones?

Sounds like an activation issue, but you're too experienced for that. Yet, we all have senior moments... 😁

Can one controller (RC2) control two drones?

You only need to bind the controller for flyaway protection, so no longer a feature in the US at the moment. You can pair the RC2 with multiple drones and switch between them without restrictions for flying. I use my RC2 to fly my neo, Mini 3, Mini 4, Air 3, and now neo 2. Which drone is simply...

    Bound Pro4 mini

Sounds like the RC2 is still logged in to the previous owners account.Try unbinding it NOW from the RC2 before you lose this precious opportunity and get logged out. You then should be able to create your own DJI account, log out of the previous owner's account on the RC2, log in to your new...

DJI's horrific support in unbinding a drone - SHOUT OUT

In that situation, if you can get the owner's DJI account, you might be successful getting DJI to reset the password for you, given proof of the inheritance.
