I have several apps on my iPad that I haven't used for several years, they are still there. What you are saying seems really weird.

I'm running 17.4 on my iPad using DJI Go4 with no issues.

You can hide the dock is System Preferences inside Desktop & Dock and click auto hide dock.

Command-Shift-4 is the best way.....

I have flown My MP1 several times without a phone or iPad, yes you have to have the drone close so you can see it, but the times I have flown I wasn't going far anyway.

The app has nothing to do with range, the controller does, I have flown my MP1 just as far without my phone, as with my phone. Again the phone is just a visual aid nothing to do with the drone.

You do know you can fly the drone without the phone or iPad hooked up, I have flown mine several times without a phone or iPad.

All these guesses and speculation mean nothing, we need to see the flight data......

Any further guesses will be useless till the OP posts the flight logs....

it is the sharpness thing, I noticed that when I was filming a football field. I turned down the sharpness a bit and the flickering was a lot less noticeable.

I just remove the files, make sure they are all there, move to the trash, reinsert card into the drone.
