The DJI manual says 'Discharge the battery to 40%-65% IF IT WILL NOT be used for 10 days or more. This can greatly extend the battery life'. So if you're charging to 100% and flying every week, you'll be fine.

I know that sunrise and sunset create some of the best conditions for photography. Is the same true for filming video with a drone? For instance, if you're filming straight down with the mavic, wouldn't the sun being directly overhead yield good results?

Sure enough that little wheel on the back left of the controller is what did it. Thanks for all the helpful replies.

I have not used that wheel yet, only the small black knob on the front of the controller. I will test tonite. Thanks for the help.

Rocky, I've went through these settings and the movement is still fast. Also, there is no angle in between forward and down....not sure. Maybe I need to reset.
