I have a M2 zoom and it's solid and dependable. The photo and video quality is fine for my clients. 7 batteries allows me to keep it up in the air for as long as I need. No upgrade path for me - yet.

To that drone pilot - take the path of least resistance, shut the f*&% up, and say "thank you, officer", and be done with it. Why is this so hard?

The best edits are the ones you don't notice. The vast majority of edits on movies is a straight cut. Maybe a dissolve or two. If you are using music cut to the beat.

I fly a DJI Mavic 2 Zoom and use pro guards all the time. I spray painted them bright red. Makes it so much easier to spot your drone if you temporarily lose it in the sky.

A good approach is: anything that is essential to keep the drone in the air (batteries, props, etc.) treat like gold and better be safe than sorry.

There are a whole boat load of videos on you tube about filming on the water - and with good reason. The downward sensors get confused with water reflection, drones don't float, etc. I would suggest investing some time in watching those videos and keep a healthy respect for the water.
