For actual cinematic footage, forget DJI Go 4, Cinematic mode, and all the advanced exp settings...

That's quite a reaching unqualified answer. Do you have anything to add to that, like why in your opinion it is 'far better'? at what? Looks interesting.

    Howdy from SF Bay Area

Thanks for the kind greets folks! I only yesterday figured out I'd flown into the wrong group. But I will likely get a Mavic 2 Pro in half a year! I've got the more ungainly Phantoms. That Mavic is a slick bird! Clear Skies!

Thank you :) I'm sorry I wandered into the wrong place. But I'll get a Mavic 2 Pro as soon as they ship. I'll bet they have HDMI by then. Groovy lil' birds, those Mavii! Going to go 'read only' now. :) Happy New Year!

That is correct. Have I found myself in a Mavic only forum? Ooops. I thought it was general discussion, in a general forum. My bad! Sorry. "Mavic Pilots" LOL. I can be slow witted at times. ;)

Very good point. I also use it once per flight session at the start to see if it wants to complain about calibrations. I do calibrations with DJI Go app as well.

You only have to use DJI Go the first time, to activate the aircraft. From then on you never need to use it. You can sync flight records with HealthyDrones directly as well as DroneLogbook. I'm actually not sure if it syncs with DJI however. It provides the same types of control, but it's a...

    Howdy from SF Bay Area

Hey there! I've got a P3P, P4P and have had a variety of other aircraft over the years. I don't see that well and etc, so quadcopters really have allowed me to enjoy being airborne. I am an amateur photographer and an engineer. Add all these up and the P4P especially with it's camera is a great...

Howdy! First post, be gentle! :) I completely agree with the OP. Like y'all, I can't conceive of not having software like Autopilot and Litchi, the enhanced functionality and possibilities they offer are vital. I want to make the point that DJI feel the same way. There's only so much one...
