I applaud your enthusiasm and get go. I personally don't see how this is feasible. I checked your site and there is not much info there. Have you received any startup funding or are you bootstrapping this yourself?
Wait, so you say the Apple/DJI partnership was just to sell iPhones? Seriously? The partnership was an attempt t get DJI products into Apple Stores. That's pretty much it.
I'm calling fake on the boxed set as well. They spelled "Propeller" wrong. DJI is so image conscious in terms of their design I can't see them making this mistake.
Some people always have to be negative. I agree the Mavic is a great bit of engineering. And brick wall? How about a concrete and stone fence? That was my first crash, and it was hard, and the only damage was a couple scratches on 2 props. After I popped the gimbal in place it was perfect.
A lot of people? Most people buy, as you say, butchered Android devices. In fact, here in the US Samsung rules. The Google devices are a small minority. I do get your point though.
The restrictions are baked into the Mavic. It knows where the restrictions are by GPS and software. How would you figure the Tower would let it fly? What could they do to unlock your flight? Nothing.
