Thanks everyone for welcomming me! What happened to my drone: I lost connection and RTH was at 15m, so it crashed into a tree and fell into a creek... My new one arrived today!

Hello Pilots! My name is Emiel , 21 years and I come from Belgium. I found this forum when I needed help to find my (still) lost drone. I hope to learn a lot here!

To give an update for this topic I haven't found my drone yet, but it has been raining alot lately and after all that searching i am sure it fell into a creek. Dji offered me a new drone with 15% discount. So i got myself a new mavic mini for 323.3 euro. I was planning for using it to travel...

How is that possible when i always set it at 30m? And what was the distance ? Because I am still convices that i should not have lost connection .

So , i can probably say byebye to my warranty. :'( that is really sad . I dont get it because my return to home should be higher than the trees...

Didnt rly know how to open them but if they are video's i will check them now.

Thanks for clarifying. I didn't get it :p . DJI is handling the case and they asked for my videofiles? you can find them here: video cache2.zip videoCache.zip Maybe you guys can find something faster than DJI, because they are taking their time .

Can you see the drone decended or something? And did it say anything about rotor troubles?

It probably fell into a creek then... Tomorrow I will put on a drysuit on and check it out. The vegetation I checked for hours, and if it is at ground lvl, I would have seen it. Is it possible the gps is off ?

Yeah that is the spot i have been searching the most. Its Also the spot where my gps says is it . But it is not there :( I didnt knew it flew so far above the forest. And you can see it started returning home somehow. So that is good to know.

It should be this file , its the right time and date. Its gonna rain in 45 mins so let's hope someone can help me quickly :p Thanks again!

Thanks alot to the both of you! I got the files and shared them with DJI. Tomorrow or the day after I will probably get more information. For now I am gonna search for the drone.
