Because it will "take a picture" of where it took off, so it can come back "precisely" to the same spot. You must also take off vertically to over 10m (so no pushing that right stick yet, only left stick up for a verticle climb)

I also tried to twist and turn mine .. but when it did'nt budge .. I did not force it. I think it does not come off. But it is already so compact - the stick length is not a problem for transporting.
