That might mean the battery was swelling and not making good contact with the power pins and possibly higher resistance, hence the heat. Just my uneducated guess.
As I have mentioned in the past, I fly mostly in rural areas (NE of Toronto) as I am into landscape panoramas.
Those few times I fly in the city, I fly in parks with the city's prior agreement....it tends to attract mostly the curious. I can only recall once being approached by a know it all...
Most impressive.....that is the step up I would be looking for when I want to upgrade from my M2P.....the M3P didn't convince me it was worth a one generation expenditure. Thx.

I used to feel that way, but came to the conclusion that if I flew at much above 30 feet, a crash would be as destructive as losing my M2P in the water....so now I routinely fly over lakes where I am.

I find it is good for me if the sun isn't shining directly on the SC's screen....the rubberized material also protects the exterior of the SC.
