At least it wasn't tracked excavator.
Their average ground pressure may be low, but they do flat work out of things sticking out.
Once tried with empty tin cans and result was basically tin cans stamped together plate...
If full endurance isn't needed it's better to avoid charging to 100% every time.
Besides the far higher higher wear from charge process, the more cell voltage goes above that ~3.8V the faster the chemical reaction degrading cell when stored at that charge.
(and really same for voltages going...
Automatic discharge is no excuse for torture lithium batteries:
Charging itself puts lithium chemistry under lots of stress/wear when done to 100%.
(80% as end point would be far healthier)
And then any time spent sitting at high charge/voltage means chemical reaction degrading cells.

Do you even have Mavic 3?
First power on after firmware update needed that minute or so, but after that have pretty much had reception from about 10 satellites by the time I get image from drone to RC Pro.
Air 2 uses old OcuSync 2.
So unlikely that newer remotes will be made compatible with it.
Air 2S and Mini 3 both use same OcuSync 3 and it shouldn't be that big job to add support for Air 2S into remote.
While sub 250 gram drone doesn't require passing online A1/A3 test, it should be free to do when registering as operator and hence wise to do while at it.

Spain has very significant...
At least in Europe/EASA countries there's clear advantage:
You (/drone's owner) have to always register as drone operator when drone has camera. (or isn't below 250 gram)
But for sub 250 gram drone it's not necessary to pass A1/A3 online test. (anyway free when registering)
And more importantly...
Even Autel's bigger and heavier models struggle in wind resistance compared to DJIs.
Mini 3 does nicely, though stability is r eally jumpy:
But that's just the nature of such light weight without equally small aerodynamic cross section for wind to push from.
(higher force per mass = higher...
Can't say Mavic 3 is much better...
Isn't that just the light bulb replacement procedure in some cars?
People should be forced to use devices/things daily for couple years before being allowed inside stone throw distance (okay that's too close, firearm range would be better) of design department.
It's entirely different thing to fly close to objects/obstacles in familiar environment and when being able to monitor from close range than control drone from longer range in unfamiliar, hard to maintain VLOS, environment.
Especially with obstacle avoidance disabled it would be easy to crash...
If camera doesn't have longer focal length/narrow field of view lens, then camera has to be simply moved closer until wanted detail level is achieved.
That puts more limits to drone's position to get the images and can stretch VLOS requirement in environment with obstacles.
Not to forget more...
Unless needing "dolly zoom", Mavic 3 makes both Mavic 2s completely jobless capability wise.
Main camera is better than in M2P and tele camera gives far better close up details than M2Z.
But sub 250 gram mini drone would have place for flying around people.
Though if EASA drone class certifying...
Welcome aboard.
Mavic 2 Zoom isn't even on same continent and barely on same planet with Mavic 3.
It wouldn't have that greatly better detail than just cropping from main camera of Mavic 3.
And that tiny 12MP sensor of Mavic 2 Zoom is just plain outdated.
So image quality falls fast in less...
