Yes can confirm the removal on one screw from each arm to perform the rotation. 5 minutes of work to fix an annoying issue. All subsequent flights have been without issue. Hope this helps. Sent from my iPhone using MavicPilots

That's a good point. It's less chatty. Hard to say what to do. If Its a faulty compass board, having dual compass is an advantage. If DJi do fix if for free then it still might be worth it. I don't like faulty components in my AC. What happens when the second compass fails [emoji23]. Only...

I am always keen to update to the newest public release firmware as it either contains new features or corrects issues that i currently have. Same goes for the DJi Go App. There are always risks when doing FW updates, but see them as minimal and I'm happy to wear the consequences should I crash...

Sure, I take your point, but all of the errors and issues I have been having are POST either firmware or DJi Go App updates. The Mavic was fine up until that point. Also, I would put to you that a good number of Mavic pilots are having these issues, and it's not an isolated case with me. Lastly...

Was hoping would fix compass error and gimbal warning about movement limit reached. But nope. Hopefully next firmware then!

Tested. Doesn't fix the compass errors for me, or the gimbal limit reached issues either. Good news is, nothing seems to be worse :-D. Thats gotta be a good thing.

How long did the install take? mines stuck on 73% for about 15 mins....
