    It may be something simpler. I am sure you already know, but I have seen others after years forget and never remove the clear lens cover on the front. If that is the case, is it the removable lens cover and not the actual lens?

    Yes, that's what I'm thinking. Is it stored in a case or bag? If so, try tossing in some type of rechargeable silica gel packet (like this one) to try capturing any moisture that might be trapped inside of the camera.

    I would recommend IOS. Much more user friendly. I have the Tripltek tablet and it’s a PITA TO Upgrade. Only thing going for it is the bright screen. Also I have both Litchi and Maven on my iPads.
