For some odd reason, one of my batteries has suddenly decided to just show two green lights (the middle two). Either in the charging dock, or the drone, still two green lights. The battery when in the drone, changes the two front lights to red. I've downloaded the DJI Assistant 2 for Mavic...

All of this doesn't matter. DJI want to sell to as many people as possible, which means under 250g in weight. The Mini 3 will (probably) be their main consumer item, with the others jogging around at various price points. That is, until the next drone appears, be that an air or whatever...

But what if the drone caught covid and brought it back into the house? After all, we were only allowed a certain distance and time, otherwise we'd be done for!! :o :)

To me it seems that the Mini 3 is the new 'mainstream' pro drone, just as the Phantom 4 was back in the day, then the Mavic. Can't wait.

This also baffles me a lot. Over the pandemic, when people were asked to stay inside, drone prices on eBay increased. That made little sense to me. This, along with the army of 0 feedback bidders ensuring that the prices remain stable.

So, to conclude, the mini 2 is basically a better drone than the mini 1. Even if they were identical in every single way, other than a rear landing plastic peg being improved on the 2, it would then be better than the mini 1. We're just going in circles.

4K video 30 fps. For 'me', the above alone was worth the change. I've owned both a mini 1 and 2. I'm not too sure what everyone wants. The Mini 2 is a great change from the 1.

If you want the max amount of cash for your Mini 2, selling before the announcement of a Mini 3 might be your best bet. I've just sold my mini 2. You take your chances.

If I'm flying under a bridge, I'd 100% want to video 'under' the bridge (if you know what I mean). :)

I have seen this amount of speculation in the past. It's nothing new (in the U.K.). I've just sold my mini 2. Will be buying the Mini 3 asap.

They can charge whatever they like, as they have the bottom range, better range, middle and stupidly expensive range. Standard marketing.

I've owned both. Basically, other than legal reasons, the Mini 2 is a LOT lighter, smaller, more life in the batteries and pretty darn easy to use. I do 'prefer' the 'balance' of the mavic when flying, but that's subjective. I vastly prefer the controller of the Mini 2, and I hated the mavic's...
