As a Newby, in New Mexico, I was wondering if there is a drone club here in Albuquerque, or around here? Or if there is interest in one starting. I know that a lot of Albuquerque is a limited NFZ but there are places around here to fly drones and would like to contact interested parties

I know going to the edge of the mountains at the east side of Albuquerque, I get that message too. All it is doing is warning me not to fly too close to being inside Albuquerque, because the N.E. heights are a NFZ limited zone because of the Air Force base on the south side of town. Military...

Have been out and videoing at the base of the Sandia's. It's neat out there, and will be trying to do stuff out there tomorrow. What I upload here will be more than likely just photos as I have not been able to upload videos. But I guess that will come.

Back in the 70's when I used to come out here, Tramway Blvd was a dirt road, about a mile east of here, and was the nearest road to this. We had to get here in a jeep.......or walk. Now the area I go to at the base of the mountain has paved roads to it.

Thought I would come here and check out your photos. Very very nice. Aren't drones great for good photography? I know there are a lot of places in New Mexico that will be great for flying my drone and taking photos. Going to be fun
