    Shelves empty!

Some drones are in stock, but the Mini 4 Pro and Air 3S look to be out.

Visit Toronto in July, any recommendation pls?

Here are a couple of web sites that may be of interest to the OP as they specifically addresses part of his question. The second site is for Tommy Thopmson park and it specifically states that drones are not allowed. https://coastaldrone.co/where-can-i-fly-my-drone-in-toronto/...

I assume you know that with a drone over 249g it needs to be registered in Canada and you need a SFOC-RPAS that can take a month or so to get. Also, Canadian regs require you to stay at least 30 meters away from people not involved with your shoot. That last point will make shooting in and...

Stay away from YYZ. Did you get the basic or advanced license?

4 Peregrine Falcons Attack my Mini 4 Pro

Did you have any red reflective tape on the mini?

    Walmart Expands Drone Delivery Service.

Not a fan. As someone who has a porch, I would rather pay a delivery person to place the package on my porch (as has been done for years) than have a drone put the item in the yard where it is not protected from weather and is a rather more obvious target for theft.

U.S. Government Allegedly Deploys Drone to Spy on Protestors.

Had you actually read the article the OP linked, you would see that the drone(s) in question were operated over Los Angeles protests/riots by DHS, not the military. DHS is a federal law enforcement agency. Similar to the FBI monitoring folks.

    Crashed mavic 2 Zoom

It's worth a try. Worst case scenario is you send them the drone and they quote you a price you don't want to sink into that drone. You get a new drone and abandon the broken one. If you don't send it in, it is basically the same as an abandon drone. If they price for the fix is reasonable...

    Cinelike Versus D-Log M

My wife bought me the Mavic Air 2 several years ago and I got the 107 ticket to go with it. As a private pilot, this was not a huge time investment. Given my business commitments, I have not had much time to fly it - less than 3 hours on the airframe. Given that I recently retired, I have...

Need Help in deciding between regular and Plus batteries for Mavic Mini 4 Pro

OP - if you are a travel channel and want Canadian content, the lighter batteries will allow you to get that content with minimal hassle. If you use the bigger batteries, the hoops to jump through grow exponentially. Not sure how you create your content, but if you share it on youtube or...

Newbee thoughts about Trust vs 107

For what you outline, it sounds recreational to me. THBS, if a shared photo finds its way into a friend’s youtube video, the FAA may disagree. For me, it just wasn’t worth the hassle to not have the 107. YMMV.

Newbee thoughts about Trust vs 107

Unless you are just boring holes in the sky just for the heck of it, you need a 107. I wanted to get some shots for our church web site - pro bono - needs a 107. I wanted to inspect my motohome roof, needs a 107. I discussed these scenarios with the FSDO and was told that these exact...

Selling Drone - Tail Number Question

I may sell my Mavic Air 2 to upgrade. If I sell it, should I remove the tail number stickers or leave them?

Two drones stolen out of my jeep!

I wouldn’t expect your homeowners policy to cover equipment used in a commercial enterprise. Do you have a business P&C policy?
