That broadcast includes the fliers DJI UUID (Unique User IDentification). This is defined by DJI as Remote IDentification ('RID').

I've watched quite a few videos where the reviewers have the thing pointing in all directions while it powers on. I'm in the same boat - flat surface, power on, gimbal auto calibration dance...
