My business email ends in "@faa.gov". I routinely fly (legitimately) on airfields, as drone flights are far faster and safer ways to inspect radar towers/antenna, comm gear, navaids, etc.
I sold my Mavic Platinum because of DJI's nannying. DJI, I understand wanting to protect yourself from casual flyers and careless kids, but you have NO right to restrict an FAA Part 107 pilot (USA, and equivalents in other regions). Do private pilots have to beg Cessna to take off? Do commercial airliners have to file with Boeing and Airbus to leave the ground? Of course not. Yes, for a certified pilot, it IS the SAME THING.
I fly the Mavic Mini for fun/vacation, the Typhoon H480 Pro or Autel Evo for work.
