I got my mini 2 to use on our clubs island in the CA Delta so purchased these floats at the same time. They work very well. After I learned to fly the drone I got rid of them because they cut the flight time to half. And, I realized how easy to control the drone was I would take a chance on not...
I just added this pic. These are about 3" long and fit the notches in the battery perfectly. And take up little room in my bag. I have long fingernails but no strength in my old, old hands.
I use this very simple extender I found: Tablet Extender It was cheap so thought I would try it just for fun. Completely surprised that it holds my iPad securely and is very easy to hold the combination in a balanced position.
I had this error and other weirdness. It requested IMU calibration which I did twice. Hasn’t reoccurred. When calibrating, look very carefully at the picture of the drone. The placement has to be exactly in the order shown.
The wall charger brick that comes with the drone fly package is a USB-C PD charger. It is 18W and can charge at 5, 9, or 12 volts per the PD spec. Most assuredly it is charging at 9v 2A for 18W. When you use Mavic 2 adapter it is not charging at 13v, but most likely 5v. Just get a USB-C PD...
Where I live drones are not allowed almost everywhere as the "disturb nature" mantra is cited. But, all day long, all around our area the gardeners are running their incredibly irritating gas powered devices that do nothing but move nature around.
Maybe you have looked carefully but all of the problems I have had with the lightning connector is just being gummed up. Dig in there really good with a toothpick and blow compressed air if you have it. It's surprising how much stuff can get lodged in there.
If your charging brick has a USB C cable port, it also needs to support USB PD to get the fast charge. some bricks support only USB QC 3.0. I don’t believe the mini 2 batteries support QC 3. A lot of the bricks do both. The one shipped with mini 2 is only USB PD.
