Do I need an ND filter for Mavic 4 Pro?

"The use of UV filters is much hyped in forums like this, causing beginners to assume they need to use UV filters even if they don't." UV filters? I assume this was a typo, wasn't it? Or you were using UV filters as case in point? For the benefit of the readers I think you should clarify your...

Do I need an ND filter for Mavic 4 Pro?

In those film days I needed to carry wooden box full of the color correction filters and color meter when shooting interiors with various light sources. It was very difficult to get the WB right on trannies. But that all changed with arrival of digital cameras. I still have the box somewhere😀...

Do I need an ND filter for Mavic 4 Pro?

Well, that is a different story. I do not think that was the question the OP asked. We usualy talk about normal ND filters here not gradation filters. I used graduated filters on my DSLR film camera too but those were the large rectangular polycarbonate ones and I had a special holder for them...

Do I need an ND filter for Mavic 4 Pro?

For that to work you'd need to use very long exposure of several seconds or even minutes with camera on tripod. While certainly interesting method, using a drone for this would pose a several challenges. The major one is the motion blur. Drones are by nature not as stable as camera on a tripod...

DaVinci Resolve: "Media Offline" error with M3P

Not only that but sometimes it is on a special. I got it as a bundle with the Speed Editor Panel for the price of the Speed Editor, so the Studio was basically free.

DaVinci Resolve: "Media Offline" error with M3P

The Studio has many more benefits than just resolution. It utilises GPU much better, many more fusion titles and filters etc etc. To me it is a no brainer if you take editing seriously. All updates are free too 😀

DaVinci Resolve: "Media Offline" error with M3P

I believe the free version is limited to 4K max. Your M3P clips were shot in 5K by the look of it 5120x2700. There might be the problem

Air 3 Alaska From Southeast through the Aleutians on a crab boat

Amazing footage, absolutely stunning! Now as for the color grading I'd only suggest to watch closely the waveform and vectoscope to achieve consistency in brightness and saturation. A few clips are a bit too much on the bright side and a few a bit too dark. This becomes more obvious and perhaps...

    [SOLVED] RTMP: 1080p gone

What do you mean by loosing smoothness? Smoothness of what? Flying charcteristics, control stick responsiveness or smoothness of screen resolution or video downlink quality or what exactly?

What to get? Mavic 4 Pro or Mavic 3 Pro

Yeah eaxactly ! Those are the least important things when considering upgrading to M4P from M3P since M3P has had all of those 🤣

What to get? Mavic 4 Pro or Mavic 3 Pro

Not natively. The sensor in Hassy 28mm camera has physical ratio 3:2. I debated this before and pointed out that if you often fly in tight spots or need extra (almost 25% extra) vertical coverage which the 4:3 sensor behind 24mm in M3P provides then you might struggle with M4P. The other 2 tele...

D Log M (with Auto ISO) Superior to D Log

Good video, thanks for sharing! Well explained why LUT is actually a good thing😀. I've learned to grade D-log M using CST in DaVinci Resolve but applying DJI LUT makes it a simpler process with less Nodes.
