Why would you buy a super portable drone and then carry around an iPad? If you are using an iPad then you need a Phantom4.

The Mavic is a super portable drone. Don’t ruin it by sticking a dirty great tablet on it. That’s what Phantoms are for.

Another person into this subject late and must confess, I have not read any post other than first. In my view, if my RC can send signals to my Mavic two mile away it simply must be beaming some unwanted **** the other way straight into me. I know this, I accept this, I fly my drone anyway.

That's the benefit of the Mavic, you can get it up and in the air in seconds, so public parks become an ideal take off spot. As for Norfolk, there are only so many marshes of rivers you can look at before they all merge into one and become dull. Why not head over to Yarmouth and get the pleasure...
