Newly certified Drone Pilot, the first in my family. I have been in the insurance world for the last 4 years. I recently went through training for auto appraisals, and adding drone services seemed like the next logical step forward. I can write one heck of a damage estimate for cars, trucks, semis, trailers, and side by sides! I can help navigate through the claims process for both auto and property, with my favorite area being contents. 12 hours of shopping on Google trying to find the exact product that was damaged? I'm in! I have only worked property claims from the desk so far, but looking forward to doing field inspections now that I have my 107!
I like kayaking, crocheting (no old lady jokes, I already know I'm old HA!), and learning. I would swear I was born in the wrong century most of the time, as I prefer studying and learning new things. I would have been happy to have just been known as a scholar.
I like VW Beetles, and am rebuilding one, an 04 Diesel and a manual transmission. Don't knock the almighty bug, there are 4 charging ports stuffed in there, better to charge all the drone batteries with!
I have an Australian Shepherd mix who is the best travel partner ever, she has kept us safe on the road from rig hands who were just trying to do their jobs, shop hands who were just trying to unload their product, and someone who actually did try to break into our pickup at 6am. She likes kayaking, but only goes for the quality of river food and will beg from everyone on the river if you let her. She has an emotional support horse, and will beg for treats for him too.
