Was that the external temp? And did you measure it with a thermometer, or app (software)?
I've got a cheap IR thermometer to keep an eye on it when my ultra gets back.
I was also being careful with my third, only ever used manual brightness at about 75%. It still only lasted around an hour.
I'm not sure I want a fourth sent back to me until they fix the problem.
While it's not in the thread title, we (and OP) are talking about the "Ultra Bright" 2000nit model, almost 100% of them are well known to be faulty.
You probably own the High Bright 1000nit models.
I bought an ultra when they were first released in November, the backlight lasted three hours and took three weeks to replace. The new replacement ultra lasted under two hours before the backlight died again and was sent back last Friday.
I know of at least two others with multiple backlight...
Yeah it's only the Mavic pilots whinging about the charger, everyone else already has one.
I'm more pissed off that we're stuck with an outdated version of THE ONLY bloody app allowed on thing.
The brightness is the only thing going for the CS, there's NO bells and whistles. Some might see that as a good thing to prevent bugs and/or conflicts and glitches, but hell DJI can't even give us CS owners what EVERY OTHER android Go4 user has already had for weeks now.
In Go4 you have to physically fly the bird to each waypoint to set a course/mission, Litchi allows setting waypoint missions from maps without turning the drone on, it's probably more accurate set physically but it would be great if we had either option. And yes, you lose Litchi on the CS as DJI...
Not at the moment, there's obviously a problem with manufacturing as even the HB has been out of stock for months, it was available for preorder for a couple of weeks late June with a month wait and mine shipped at the start of Aug.
I like the brightness and endurance in sun/heat, but I really...
I mavicguyvered a mount for my 7.8 with the DJI bracket and some 25mm laminated MDF I had laying around, it velcro mounts to a phone sized plate that goes into the clamps or a board I can have on my lap/table.
Also have an Evolution3D mount and it's great as it lets you mount the CS above the...
Ad nauseam.
That's why I'm here, I stopped reading the RCG CS thread when what I thought was a good question about something else was quickly buried under four pages of posts about a bolt actually described in the bloody manual.
