It doesn't make sense at all. If you are a private pilot you go wherever you want with a similar knowledge level of a 107. Pass through a delta, no problem, one radio call and it's done. Seems to me a 107 license and a registration really don't do as much for you as they should. I'm a retired...
Cool video. Thanks.
Thing is, to really get it right you would need the blessing of DJI accompanied with the firmware they put on the Platinum that has the magic numbers for those props. Otherwise you might appear to be vibration free but still making the gimbal do more than it was designed for...
I think the turning down the gain just increases the sensor threshold for the warning and the vibration is still there. So much precision in the rest of the machine and then sloppy props. It really comes down to this - Do you want to fly with no vibration or do you want to fly with no vibration...
I'm in Sandwich too. There are some pretty cool places to go on the Cape. Only troublesome spots are the National Seashore, airports and Barnstable beaches (that I know of).
First flight trying low noise DJI props, I got a gimbal vibration warning after take off. Landed, props switched back and problem gone. They did sound better. Lower tone and volume are definitely more desirable. I was thinking it could be an out of balance prop.
Hmmmm. I called the bank too and contacted DJI. Worked out for the best. I really like he Mavic Pro. Accessories are discounted and available too. In the end, I could have two Pros, controller and spare batteries for the cost of the Pro 2. Anyone else seen enough "Dolly Shots" yet?
I tried to order the Mavic 2 a couple of times and with perfect credit card was rejected. I decided it was omen and went with Mavic Pro from B&H, same card. Maybe I'll get the 2 when it's proven and the prices come down.
It would be like a private pilot doing charter flights illegally under the guise of a commercial operator who charged money for the flight. He must have a commercial pilots license and be current.
