@Dale D, the safest way is to get a lipo-safe box, charge them in the box, then store all your lipos in the box out of your house, like in a water-tight shed.
Emphasis on "safest".
Keep in mind these were naked lipo packs, not DJI Intelligent...

Calm down, be reasonable. If others aren't reasonable, don't try to "fix them." Follow the rules and stop freaking out over nothing. Life is too short for all the crazy.
Just to point out a few facts...
DJI has sold millions of drones all using lithium ion batteries.
The vast majority of those batteries are stored "just lying around", i.e. no safe bag, box, or anything
most of these batteries are not carefully...
This should be a business arrangement not a friendship deal. Think of the party desiring the photos to be a complete stranger and non-acquaintance, not a friend.
