What part of Newfoundland are you going to? I grew up there. Be very wary of the weather/wind. Like they say “in Newfoundland, if you don’t like the weather, wait 10 minutes”. If any of the bergs come into some of the sounds or inlets, that might be a better bet than trying to do it on the open...

First flight was a success. (First time trying to post a link - hope it works). Got a few minutes of mini 2 footage from my maiden flight today. You guys weren’t kidding. Very impressed. I’d have to say first thoughts are that it beats the mavic pro and P3 pro so far.

After a long hiatus due to work/life and everything in between, I’m finally able to get back to droning after having to sell my p3 pro and magic pro. New mini 2 for my birthday thanks to my wife and 2 great kids. Taking to the skies tomorrow for its maiden flight. ???

The reel pictured has 178 meters of tether. It’s possible to got to 450 meters. Battery run time is about 6 1/2 hours. Depending on currents and if you’re running any peripherals like sonar, grabber, lights etc.
