Altitude limit in DJI software (adjustable up to 1600-ish feet) is above takeoff elevation. Otherwise, anyone who lives/flies at a takeoff elevation above 400' would be out of luck! Legal rules is 400' AGL (above ground level), not 400' MSL (above mean sea level).

I ran into the same problem. Turns out you need to choose the option to change your e-mail address ... even though it is the correct one. You will then see that you need to re-enter your password. Missing password is why it times out and reports a network error. Bug!

Actually, I’m quite impressed with how well the camera handled the challenges of low light and extreme contrast.

+1. Biggest desire for Mavic 2 is improved camera. Love everything else about the Mavic package but am mystified why the images it captures are so much weaker than from an iPhone, which must make due with a much smaller camera system.

Had an absolutely terrific purchase experience with Advexure. Lost a day due to an inbound DHL fail on their end, but they helped me regain the day and were amazingly available and communicative throughout.

Went to 500m, 1630 ft, as well. Up the side of a mountain here in LA. Never more than about 200 ft AGL.
