It has a parachute in the rear and will deploy when a sudden drop in elevation is detected. Obviously it won't do anything for a low elevation crash but I believe it is designed to roll forward based on the geometry of the crash bars.

Glad its finally here but still can't believe DJI waited so long to release their SDK for the Mini 2. Should have been available 6 months after launch.

RC Pro has the same screen - think they only updated the processor and antenna configuration. Other minor things like the screw holes at the bottom to mount lanyards is slightly different too which is annoying if you want to use anything for the original Smart Controller.

DJI is like Apple - closed ecosystem that they heavily control. Maybe in the future but remains to be seen.

Seems like this type of battery worked on the original Mavic Pro per the video below... Does anyone know if the 4S variation will work for the Mavic 2? 3.5Ah 14.8v 80W Endurance Brick Version

Thinking of trying this battery from Titan Power with the Mavic 2 mod. Most likely just going to use one velcroed directly on top of the original battery. 3.5Ah 14.8v 80W Endurance Brick Version Let me know if you think it will work with the 4S battery - I'd appreciate it.
