Hi cavanhoose. I usually fly twice a week at Markham if the weather cooperates. I used to fly with 8 batteries a day but cut back to 4 batteries a day (due to lightning storms). I hate to come home with any fully charged batteries that I have to run down with a device. I don't like any of them...
If possible turn on controller with Ipad or smart phone connected. Turn on your Mavic. Open the DJI Go 4 APP on the screen. Find and click on the battery info. It should show you if the battery is good or not along with the info on each cell. Each of the 3 cells should read very close having...
Who is they o_O. I fly there twice a week and am usually airborne for 2-1/2 hours each time (eight batteries).
There are two types of drones flown out there. One are the little racers usually flown in the control line area. The types of drones that fly slower with photo capability usually are...
Probably only for the Mavic APP to recognise the 2 batteries as one big battery.
I would use a multi pin connector to charge each battery pack separately as charging with cells in parallel is not good according to some LiPo experts. After both packs are charged you could plug them together and...

Both Mavics updated very easy. Only change was pressing C2 no longer showed battery cells and their status. I fooled around in the menu on battery status and got it working again. All other settings remained unchanged :).
I can do the firmware update very easy for both Mavics. I hope there is no battery firmware updates like the last time as it was a pain with additional smart batteries .
frogs, will you take $25 for that battery :). Just joking. I had the same issues with a battery I purchased yesterday and one that came with the Mavic. I also have updated the Mavic system to 800 firmware. Here is my fix. I installed the latest version of DJI assistant on my PC. I put the...
