To the OP - 28mm on the Mavic is not going to be the same field of view as a 28mm on your SLR. The sensor size is also a factor in determining how much each lens 'sees'.

Shooting in Standard mode will over saturate the colours (some people like it that way). Try changing your setting to D-Cinelike for a more natural look or D-Log for a really flat look that you can colour grade later when you are editing.
