These Yagi wave shapers need RF in order to inductively excite the primary element. If RF is not there it will not work. I have had the SG906 apart and I can assure you that there is nothing in those antenna thingys except air.

DJI is no longer making the Mini 1, per the attached screen shot.

I have the SG906 Pro and if you look closely at the RC "antennae" you'll see that there's no wires going to them...they're just dummies. The Yagi's won't work.

I know there's a Mini 2 but it's different from and more expensive than the Mini 2.

I have a Galaxy A51 5G running Android 11 and it will not connect. It is also not listed as a compatible device. My old Galaxy S8 works just fine. You don't need a data connection so going to an older device, assuming it's in good working order, should be fine.

I did an immediate exchange with Amazon. Mavic specs say my Galaxy S8 will work. I expect any product I spend good money on to work right out of the box, which this didn't. As I said, the replacement works.
