The active track is designed to track either a person, a car or a boat. It identifies what it is tracking. POI or Spotlight can pick up just an object.

I was further away when I did the POI and had no problem so I don't think that is the problem. I was only 70' above the water and about 100' away from the sailboat. It easily identified it as a boat.

Thanks for the info and that's the thing I'm really looking for as they must be compatible with the RC Pro Controller and other than what oztx mentioned I haven't seen any although I've seen some YouTube guys using different ones.

Thanks for the reply and that’s actually something that I was thinking about trying. I might give it a go on my next flight and see how it works.

Where can you purchase extra control sticks for the RC Pro Controller as I'm worried about losing one and like to have backups? I'm in Canada and have checked DJI and Amazon but not having any luck.

I'm using the iPad Pro 11" and I love it. I haven't really had a problem with the weight. It's nice to be able to see everything a lot easier than my iPhone 12 Pro. Being old I love the size. I did buy a sun hood for it but not using it a lot.
