    I flew near a hill which had a large antenna. It had dishes and loads of gear on it and was masked by trees. My flight started ok and when i got within 100metres it went nuts. Mavic basically jumped between gps and atti and started to fly strangely. Hit rth and it all ended fine. Never flown...

    Height

    RTH might be a issue. The GPS system too. Max altitude is based on sea level. Take off at top of Everest is theoretically imposible as it exceeds ceiling.

    Agree. Mine was one of first with suncorp and provided i can demonstrate that flight was flown legallly ie not a no fly zone, alt etc then its covered. Cost $12 a year extra as a portable home contents item. The first year free as they dony charge for revisions under $25. Suncorp, GIO...I dont...

    Total loss on a policy always ends the policy. A new insurance policy would address the problem. The effort spent on this would be better spent asking right question of SF

    Mt tip...never fly into sun with gymal allowed to face sun. If you do the camera gets really messed up and only a reset can fix it
