In Canada , specifically Ontario I have been ordering from DJI for years and have never been charged additional taxes. The Invoice from DJI showed Tax Included.. on the final bill. I checked with DJI and they said that it could vary based on your geographic location.. so its not a one-solution...
Ordered mine the night of the launch AprI’ll 27th Direct from DJI.. My reason was tax savings and free shipping. I live in Canada ( Ontario ) and we pay 13% sales tax on almost everything !
Saved over $145 buying direct from DJI ( with Care Refresh added ) as opposed to buying from a...
I have been a DJI Select member for many years. It has its good points and not so great ones. First of all its not free. Like buying an annual membership at Costco..lol The renewals are cheaper tho.
Yes you do get some discounts , however I sometimes wonder if the annual fee is worth it? That...
“Awaiting Shipping”
I ordered from DJI directly On the night of the launch and my order is “ Awaiting Shipping” , not sure if that was the right thing to do. Especially since the last launch ? with the Mavic Mini DJI focused on ensuring all their 3rd party resellers had stock before they...

Great question, as using a two way radio with a spotter when flying would be great tool... here is the one I was looking at , however I have the same concerns about interference..
Make sure you adjust the app parameters to match that which country you are in ( USA/ Canada ) . so for example in Ontario Canada if one looks up Transport Canada rules then make the necessary tweaks on the app to match some of the restrictions.. this way you are sure to be flying in a good to...
According to Transport Canada & MAAC if you are flying a remote control plane, helicopter or drone on a MAAC registered field and airspace you do not need to register or have a permit; as long as you have MAAC membership and flying on a MAAC registered field. Cheers
I use an app called UAV Forecast. It not only tells me of the current flying conditions weather wise , but also can display of u are near or in a no fly zone and gives a forecast of upcoming weather as well.. free for hobby use , pay if u have a drone related business.
