Thanks for the replies ? I did get the DJI refresh, after a couple of flights I found that it's quite nerve racking. No doubt I'll get used to it but as you said, peace of mind.

I'd like to think I'm careful but as a total newbie flying my drone is beyond my experience, maybe the odd crash is absolutely the norm? What is the forums opinion on DJI Refresh? Is it essential as a damaging crash is all but inevitable? Are there better options? I bought the Mini2 standalone...

Sorry to muddy the waters but I was advised by DJI over the webchat that the guards were compatible so I ordered a set with my new Mini2 from Amazon UK. Arrived yesterday and they do seem to fit. I have no previous experience of drones but as an engineer I would describe them as a tight fit...

Hi all. New to the world of drone flying, just bought a Mini2 as a 50th birthday treat for myself. Delivered yesterday and managed a quick flight this morning before rain set in. Interesting to see a few other users from my part of the world.
