I just had the same problem with a new 13 pro plus, the case is difficult to remove from the phone and with it on it is to tight to fit in the arms of the RC. Solution for me was to get a mounting bracket that puts the phone above the RC and a new cable to reach.

With more sub 250g drones coming onto the market, how long do you think it will be before the legislation is changed yet again So that it will require <150g to fly in this category. I think the government either wants the hobby closed or to make more money from it. No licence required for a dog...

Some of these suggestions are missing the point from the original post. That was to safely fit into the flymore case. For this, the props need to be held perpendicular across the under side of the body. If they move from there they risk being bent on the bump in the base of the case.
