I always thought the same thing, until an update failed for no reason and somehow ruined my Mavic's ability to position itself. Had to send in for repair, which is when I learned that DJI's support is very hit-or-miss. The failed update also bricked one of my batteries, which I had to send back...

The first few times I disconnected the headband it was a bit more difficult than it is now. Either I've become more accustomed to it, or maybe it's loosened up a little.

Cool! I looked at that case as well. Ended up going with this case for the goggles and this one for the Mavic. I like disconnecting the goggles from the battery while storing. Eliminates the chance of the goggles accidentally turning on and draining the battery while in the case.
