My first one had that issue also. It was annoying enough taking photos that I returned it with DJI Care. No issues since then.

How far back does the "Federal Land" extend? Would this be similar to a Federal/National park that you cannot take off from, but it is legal to fly over as long as you take off from outside the park?

I have a Symik A310-MM2DL on Amazon. ($50, also a smaller size) Custom cutouts for Mini 2 and others. Tray under top section for larger items. Works great for me.
