Humidity and heavy wind may be pushing motor/battery significantly. Could contribute to overheating in Hawaii. Maybe pushing the drone too hard...

Now you've got me paranoid! I was paying a bit more attention to mine. it feels rock solid like it won't fall out but the phone mount does have a bit of play... seems like it wouldn't get worse but I'm leaning towards the new mount just to be on the safe side. Not what I wanted to spend...

No pics but I went with the Lowepro droneguard 250. I really like it, plenty of room for everything including my mavmount with room to spare!

really worried about a bit of a load on the antenna? Is it that cheaply built?? Or just overly cautious? Not trying to be a smart ***.... seriously asking as I'm new to this drone.

I had a Mavmount from my mini and it works fine... once I figured out which way it goes. Gotta put the part with the post against the controller and it is solid. Saw someone say something about being concerned about the weight on the mount... I'm hoping that won't be an issue but I'm...

Just got my MA2... can't wait to get it up in the air. I've had a mini for a couple months, had maybe 5 or 6 flights with no issues. Great little drone but I wanted something that can take more wind. Thinking of selling the mini (fly more) if anyone is interested....
