When you fold the display back in it only sets it to sleep mode after the time that is set in the settings. It does not power off but screen will go dark. If yours is set to screen off when arm is closed it disables the sleep timer and goes dark... -

Thanks hon... It was a proper good spot, however the midges were out and biting, so although I wanted to fly the top fall aswell, my husband and MiL were vocal about needing to come back and land as they were being bitten, so I cut the flight...
