The Mini 2 doesn’t lose its ability to fly in the A1 subcategory after the transitional period ends at the end of 2022. So it effectively is the same as a C0 drone in all but name.

Personally I would hold off buying the Air 2 at the moment, in light of the new CAA regulations coming in next year. From January the Air 2 would fall into the A3 Legacy category, so no people within the area of flight and 150m separation from residential, commercial, industrial or recreation...
