    Night pics tonight

Thanks! the camera settings were ISO 100, 1.6 Second Shutter. They were taken just before the sun rise, I normally use 2.0-2.5 second shutter when its completely dark out. Also, the least amount wind the better! you want that bird dead-still if possible while the shutter is open. hope this helps!

Nice shots Spike! I like the clouds in there! I took a couple last night as well. I'm still amazed at what the little guy can do. Cheers!

Really impressed with the Mavic at night

Thanks guys! Camera settings were ISO 100, 1.6 Second Shutter. This is just a jpeg, didn't even crop it! It was taken JUST after sunset so there was a small amount of ambient light that helped. Its hard to tell if you get a clear shot because the mavic needs to be pretty still while the shutter...

    Sport mode top speed

you can get it to go even faster going sideways in wind I've hit 47mph doing that. The wind hitting extra surface area on the side of the mavic vs the rear got me an extra 4mph. (I ran it both ways). Wind was about 15 mph that day

Video of Mavic Wind Limits! >40mph or 18m/s

This is awesome, great work! I did a similar test, but not at those wind speeds. Great info to know. Did you happen to see what rpm the motors were running during a hover? I've been using motor RPM lately to see how much the drone is actually working rather than relaying on just the high wind...

    Official Mavic Pro Range Leaderboard!

I have also had her down really close to lights out. Scary! I thought to myself "this is funny. The it automatically kill the motors at 1% to avoid over discharging the battery and potentially ruining it.... so instead it chooses to just let the bird drop out the sky and ruin itself for sure"

Whats the highest you've taken your Mavic?

I normally stay below 400ft. But I have taken it over 1000ft about 10 times or so to film above some low laying fog in my area. I'm not in any flight paths for scheduled flights, but I do keep my eye out for anything around. Highest so far is 1350ft. As long as the wind isn't too strong the...

    Flying above the fog

Thank you! Yeah there was noticeable moisture on the Mavic from that shot in the fog. It seemed to handle it just fine! I tried a image stabilization but it seemed to mess with the fog's motion too much. I'm sure some better software can do it, but I'm only using I movie :/
