Hi all,

I have been retired since Oct. 2012. When you retire from a regular go to work every day life you find yourself with lots of extra time to do things you may always wanted to do, but didn't have the time.

Building and fly RC aircrafts fall into that world for me. I started by buying a $100.00 quad that by todays standards was very crude. But it did let me know that I indeed had a real interest in pursuing the hobby.

I jumped next in the hot water by buying and building a DJI 450 quad complete with the NAZA flight controller with GPS.

So now 5 years later I find myself the owner of a DJI Mavic Pro Fly More kit. Many of multi rotor builds and fixed wings to have crossed my build bench.

I have joined this forum to connect with other Mavic Flyers so I can learn and share my experiences too. I have had the Mavic for months now, but have not flown it much due to moving from Southern California to the Great Northwest.

Now that the busyness and stress of the move are behind me it's time to dig into the Mavic...
