Everything you download into your phone, computer etc gathers something. Many phones are made in China, so why would they bother with another app? Just have your phone collect data.

The farmers would be over their own property so that wouldn't be a problem. But the altitude I suppose would be the question.

Welcome to the forum. I also live in the CR area. Would be nice to find a drone club or organization in our area. I enjoy flying my Mavic 2 Zoom, but I'm not a photographer. I do ok lol.

That's great to hear. Many police depts or officers really aren't knowledgeable about drones and drone rules. It makes it difficult to discuss issues with them.

Depends on the fine print. They already ID your car, truck, boat, airplane, etc...

I have seen this article elsewhere. Large drones, 6 ft wingspan. However the two pictures that article showed was of a Phantom and a Mavic. Neither would look anything like the description given.

Lead based paint, for example, would probably cause problems. I don't even know if they make it anymore.

And families at home that also feel the stress of loved ones serving.
