That's only for Part 107 flights as set out in 107.51. It is not part of the recreational exemption, 49 U.S. Code § 44809, which has a hard limit of 400 ft above ground level.

I recommmend two things : First always get the Majority of the storm using Auto Settings. this is critical as it will not fail you. Once you feel like you got a good part of it, you can than Dial in the ISO and play with the F Stop. One...
