    Drone flying illegally?

Or laser to disrupt his camera?? If they are moving drugs, contact a state LEO agency and let them know the locals are friends with them as your reason for going above them.

No warranty for malfunctions at night

That was my thought, some other influence, Karen, Kid, or Unofficial Drone Police. He was obviously well above any obstacles in the area, over an intersection as you could see ahead of his flight path where the incident took place. Rare bird strike or someone that did not want him flying there. IMHO

I may be wrong, but I believe in past posts here and in other groups it was mentioned that the MAS props although providing better and quieter performance, are more brittle and will shatter if encountering a situation like above. Resurrecting a Mavic Pro...

I may be wrong, but back then if you had a brand new battery shipped in hibernation mode, you had to initialize it by charging it with the single charging cord, not with the multi battery strip. Don't know why but it worked. May try that.

DIY Charging Mavic 2 Pro Batteries from USB‑C PD Power Bank – Anyone Successfully Done It?

"Others tried using a car charger powered by a USB-C to 12V car socket adapter, with mixed success" Why not just use an inverter plugged into your vehicle cigarette lighter socket and produce 120v to the DJI charger. Some vehicle have 120v outlets built-in. I have a 120v outlet in my primary...
