I put skins on my two M1P's and it did help a little, out to about 1800 feet away. If it is overcast i can probably see to 2000 feet, but I agree a strobe makes all the difference (and i have that now too).

I respectfully disagree with you. I live just outside of a NFZ for commercial aircraft. If a plane is near by (and i have no idea how far away) i will get a warning on my phone screen saying words to the affect "Caution, aircraft in the area"

I fly what is now considered to be an antiquated M1P and if there are aircraft in the area i get a warning.
