OK I had this issue, it was awful and I thought it was me doing something wrong. Turned out the sensor was defective on my Mavic. I sent it in, they sent me back a whole new Mavic and problem gone.

Glad to hear. I sent mine back a week ago and the preliminary assessment is a defective sensor. I'll let the forum know once I get the replacement unit.
