just bought an apple lightning to hdmi and it works with it great.
be prepared that iphones and the goggles are 16:9 and ipads are 4:3 (still work fine tho)
Has any of you (who has the goggles already) experienced issues with the proximity sensor? It does not turn off the screen for me at all. Maybe it only works in some special situations/usage or it has some delay?

I think its one source displayed on two screens with a beam splitter, so you cannot give two different sources and that is essential for 3d.
(though im not sure about this 100%)
I had issues with updating only the day I got the mavic.. tried it with several devices but nothing helped.. failed, every time. Then I've formatted the SD card and it fixed it :) since then, no issues with the updates.
Just curious, what's the main difference between this goggle's specs and a VR goggle's specs? FOV and the possibility that the VR can project two different sources on the left and right display? Not sure about headtracking, that too? DJI's goggles has it but it might need some tweaking to use it...
