that is a great saying....there are quite a few places in life where i see that as such an apt comment...including here. i can see me getting hooked on this. hopefully not too much....and hopefully, it really works out as a great tool for us. i really can't wait to get good enough to fly this...

thanks...wow, another comment from a pilot, and one that talks about the joy of flying. thanks for letting me know that i'm not alone on this. like i said above, i've decided to go a different direction than the MA2. and a lot of that has to do with that 2nd reason i gave for buying a drone...

i'm sure i will. it's very cool to hear from all of you who use your drones for a variety of reasons. especially those of you who actually fly aircraft that you're in :) i really thought i must've been alone in how i'd use the drone in a novel way.

i dunno....i was expecting a little more from them. i need a fly more kit for mavic 2, so it was disappointing to see that there were no discounts on that or any of the many accessories that they have listed on that page.

wow, again...good points. Rving in non-campground areas usually takes a lot of prep for a stress-free trip. you want to google map as many roads as possible to gauge whether your rig can make it down to your desired location....also, scoping out gas stations that can accommodate your size, low...

ok, i get it. i can improve my connectivity if i, myself, are at a vantage point that has fewer to no obstructions between the drone and myself. while i'm sure that ideals conditions like that may not always be available, i'll make sure that i'll always be on the lookout for positions like that...

wow...that's what i'm talking about. just the flying experience by itself. to get up close to those huge rock formations. that's what i'd love to do. thanks for that post!

thanks for the welcome :) do you find flying well above trees causes the same connectivity problems? i find forums like these ....on any subject really....a vital resource. so i'm looking forward to spending more time here...hopefully contributing as well....if i happen to take to this drone...

no offense taken :) my research consists of watching a lot of youtube videos. there's a lot of great information there...and while i'm sure it's not all great, watching a lot of that stuff can give you a consensus of what's good and what's not...most of the time, at least. but nothing beats...
