I agree completely with the contradicting info that you get from the flight apps. I also agree with having to go east and/or go central where the valleys are in order to have wide open space. I will be doing some location scouting soon lol.

LOL I thought about flying at a park in Berkeley called Cesar Chavez but it looks like I will be doing that tomorrow. I can check with the B4UFly app and this air control app i have as well

Thanks for the run down! A lot of that I have already done such as getting the certificate. California is very restrictive with where you can fly, especially where I live. That’s why I joined this forum - so I can see if others around me have any suggestions. Google and YouTubing this subject...
